Leaving the mysterious landscapes of Death Valley behind, you ride north toward Lone Pine, an iconic small town nestled at the foot of the Sierra Nevada. Here, the legend of the American West comes alive at the Museum of Western Film History celebrating the classic westerns and cult movies filmed throughout this legendary region. From there the ride takes you through the spectacular Alabama Hills where rounded rock formations, open desert roads and snow-capped peaks create one of the most cinematic backdrops in California. This is pure Wild West riding. In the afternoon, you’ll head toward one of California’s most unexpected natural wonders : Mono Lake. Over one million years old, this ancient lake is famous for its surreal limestone tufa towers rising from turquoise waters. DAY 4 :

LEE VINING --> Yosemite --> Jamestown -->  STOCKTON   300 km / 188 miles

Today’s ride takes you across the majestic Sierra Nevada through one of its legendary scenic mountain passes. Depending on weather conditions, you’ll ride either the famous Tioga Pass, offering breathtaking views over Yosemite, or the spectacular Sonora Pass, known for its tight curves, dramatic elevation changes, and incredible alpine scenery. Either way, this is pure riding pleasure for motorcycle enthusiasts, surrounded by pine forests, mountain lakes, and towering granite peaks. After miles of unforgettable riding, you’ll stop in Jamestown to enjoy some free time in this charming Old West town with its authentic western atmosphere. In the afternoon, you’ll step back in time at Columbia State Historic Park, where wooden sidewalks, historic buildings, saloons, and Gold Rush-era ambiance bring the spirit of the 19th-century American West back to life.

DAY 5 :

STOCKTON --> Sausalito --> SAN FRANCISCO   200 km / 125 miles

This morning, the ride heads toward Sausalito, a charming bohemian village nestled along the San Francisco Bay. Its colorful floating homes, relaxed atmosphere, and laid-back California vibe make for a unique and memorable stop before entering the energy of San Francisco. Then comes one of the most iconic moments of the journey: riding into San Francisco across the legendary Golden Gate Bridge. From the saddle of your Harley-Davidson, you’ll cross this world-famous red suspension bridge towering above the bay an unforgettable experience and a true highlight of the American West. In the afternoon, the atmosphere shifts with a visit to the legendary Alcatraz prison. On this wind-swept island, you’ll discover the cells that once held some of America’s most notorious criminals while experiencing the fascinating history and mystery surrounding this iconic landmark.

DAY 6 :

Free day to explore San Francisco

Today, the motorcycles take a break, but the adventure continues. Welcome to San Francisco, a city full of character and contrasts, where every neighborhood tells its own story. Start your day at Pier 39, the lively heart of the waterfront, famous for its sea lions, sunny terraces, and colorful shops. Then immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of Chinatown, the oldest Chinatown in North America, filled with temples, lanterns, and vibrant markets. The Castro District will captivate you with its energy and iconic atmosphere, while the Mission District showcases giant murals, Latin culture and authentic local cuisine. Step back into the spirit of the 1960s in legendary Haight-Ashbury, birthplace of the hippie movement and the famous “Summer of Love.” To complete the experience, hop aboard San Francisco’s historic Cable Cars as they climb the city’s steep hills, offering spectacular views over the bay and the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Deep in the heart of Capitol Reef National Park, you’ll stop in Fruita, a charming historic Mormon settlement nestled among orchards planted more than a century ago. Depending on the season, riders can even pick fresh fruit straight from the trees.
